Meijer - Worst Website
Meijer has the worst website. Many times you cannot look up specific items.
If you have a slight misspelling of a word it doesn't find anything (while other sites do). Meijer needs to compare their website to any other major retailer and learn... Kroger, Walmart are two examples. I many times look up an item to see if the store has it and how much it costs.
I used to shop at Meijers regularly but do not any longer.
The website was changed "about" 5+ years ago and I talked to someone in the store and e-mailed corporate office but it wasn't looked at. If the purpose of having a bad website is to entice people to go to the stores, it isn't working.
Reason of review: Website.

THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST NUDISTS WHO WANT TO SHOPPING WEARING THEIR BIRTHDAY SUIT!
I'm relieved to learn that. They are building a new store nearby ; now I have a reason to go check it out.
The two people who put the "thumbs down" to my comment about Nudist are a couple of dummies!
oh boo-hoo. nobody cares about people that don't know how the follow the stores or the companies rules and policies!
People do know from right and wrong.
Clearly you don't. Guess nobody has taught you "No shirt, No Service!
Oh grow up. You need to face the facts and follows rules and policies wherever you're going to go.
I am going to guess nobody into your life taught you and educated you onto that! If anybody is the real dummy it is you!
Ah! Good 'ole Meijer.
We have now stopped buying much of anything from them for a number of reasons, but their lack of open checkout lanes got so bad that we would just up and leave a half or full cart of groceries in some aisle because they only had one lane open on most mornings, especially Sundays. That, and the fact that they apparently do not stock the stores at night when there is less traffic, but wait until morning and then block the aisles with large pallets of groceries awaiting someone to stock the shelves; leaving large carts full of frozen products in the aisles for who-knows-how-long to partially defrost. Their website is really on a par with Spectrum's as far as reliability of access, eg., MPerks and pharmacy----not well done and apparently created by computer programmers of mediocre talent----perhaps they work cheaper than more qualified ones. All in all, Kroger and, yes Walmart now have our business and what a change!
Kroger has a very good digital coupon site and on Fridays and Saturdays have specials which work out great cost-wise. Even Walmart now has more open lanes than Meijer.
